CAMPING & ACCOMMODATION:
What are my accommodation options?
- Paradise Country is a camping only event. Our resort accommodation is not available.
- Campgrounds are on site at our resort – Cape Gloucester Resort
- You can swag, tent, or bring your van or motorhome.
- There are no powered or water sites.
- You will need to be self-contained with power and water.
- There will be toilets and showers in campgrounds.
- If you wish to book multiple sites, you need to arrive at the same time or have a representative to hold the site for you.
- We do not reserve sites.
You can park one car in your campsite. - First access to camping area is on the first day of the Music Festival the 17/07/26.
- Generators – can be used, please be considerate of your neighbours & do not operate between 10pm and 7am
Size of Camp – 10m x 5m which holds 1 Caravan or 1 Motorhome & 1 Car or 2 Tents & 1 car Your annex & car needs to be inside this area. - Dump Point – Closest is Proserpine near the Caravan Park
Mobile Signal – is patchy – Telstra is your best chance. - Coming and going from campsite is allowed at 5km/hr. However, if you need to come in and out regularly, please park in car park until you are ready to be parked up at your campsite, this is for the safety of campers.
- Campfires are permitted at the campground – must be enclosed campfire – pit/wood stove/fire burner and between 4pm and 10pm.
- Any campfire must be at least 5mtrs from a tent, vehicle, or other camping structure. Firewood will be BYO as required.
What services are there for people with a disability for day visits.
Wheelchair assessable toilet at the Resort.
Will there be a courtesy bus service for people staying in Hydeaway Bay and Dingo Beach Areas?
Yes – a timetable and pick up points will be advised closer to the time, keep an eye on Cape Gloucester Resort Facebook Page or www.capegresort.com.au.
Can I bring a chair into the festival area?
Yes, if you have an admission ticket.
Can I bring food and bottled water/soft drink into the festival?
All water bottles must be sealed and glass is not permitted.
All eskies & bags will be searched at security checkpoint, and any BYO alcohol will be confiscated.
The Resort area is a licensed area and will have food and drinks available.
Free water stations to refill are available around the Resort grounds.
Can I bring my own Alcohol?
BYO alcohol is permitted in the Campgrounds but is NOT permitted in Resort grounds.
All eskies & bags will be searched at security checkpoint, and any BYO alcohol will be confiscated.
Are Dogs allowed?
Only Accredited Assistance Dogs & Guide Dogs wearing identifiable vest/harnesses will be permitted into Resort area.
Relevant paperwork must be presented at entry.
Campgrounds – Yes small dogs, provided your pet is kept on a leash or otherwise carefully secured.
Dogs are not permitted to wander.
Owners must clean up after pets.
What time can I enter the Resort each day?
You can enter the Resort from 10am daily.
Are pass-outs available?
You are free to come and go at your own discretion, provided you always keep your armband on.
What happens if it rains?
We get wet.
Will my bags be searched?
It is a condition of entry to the festival that searches of patron’s bags/possessions may be undertaken. If you do not consent, you may be denied access to the festival. Please note any prohibited items located during the search will be confiscated and not returned.
Can I smoke in the festival area?
For designated smoking areas please refer to signage
Is there parking available at the festival for non-campers?
Yes, we have onsite parking available for non-camping patrons, please follow the relevant signage or directions.
General Prohibited Items:
Items that could reasonably, be considered hazardous or disruptive to other patrons or facilities should not be brought to the festival.
Items include but are not limited to:
- Drones or other remote-controlled toys
- Flammable liquids
- Air Horns
- Flares/fireworks/sparklers/explosives/fire twirling gear or similar
- Glass bottles or containers
- Laser pointers/pens or equipment
- Illicit drugs &/or illegal substances
- Sound systems
- Weapons
Any other item deemed by Festival Security or Staff (at their own discretion) to be potentially dangerous or disruptive to other patrons.
